Strategy Manager

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As a Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in translating organisational strategy into actionable plans, ensuring effective implementation, and driving positive change throughout our organization. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with various departments, leveraging your leadership skills and industry knowledge to execute key initiatives and enhance our competitive advantage. You will be supporting Redion ANZ 3-year strategic plan as well as steering key projects of the underlying 2026-2028 strategic roadmap. The ideal candidate will possess an analytical and rigorous mind as well as a strategic mindset.
KEY DELIVERABLES
Development of Strategic Plans:
Collaborate with senior leadership to support the development of ANZ Redion 3-year Strategic Plan.
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify priority segments, define Go-To-Market Strategies, assess insurance value chain dynamics and understand the competitive landscape evolutions
Identify industry trends, threats, and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
Alignment and Resource Allocation:
Align departmental goals, processes, and resource allocation with the overarching organisational strategy.
Provide recommendations to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with strategic objectives.
Communication and Presentation:
Prepare quarterly business reviews with Redion Group as well as clear and compelling presentations to communicate strategic plans, findings, and recommendations.
Implementation and Project Management:
Plan, implement, and manage proposed recommendations and projects in alignment with the strategic plan.
Take a hands-on approach in steering and executing strategic projects of the 2026-2027 strategic roadmap
Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor and report on project progress and business performance against the strategic plan.
Implement corrective actions as needed to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Stakeholder Management:
Manage and influence stakeholders to achieve alignment on strategic priorities and resource deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cohesive implementation of strategic initiatives.
Executive Decision Support:
Support and guide senior executives in decision-making processes with data-driven insights and strategic perspectives.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, economics, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
3+ years of experience in strategy consulting (tier 1 & 2), currently holding a manager position
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent understanding of business operations and procedures.
Experience with data analysis and performance metrics.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Leadership and project management abilities.
Familiar with insurance Industry.
