About the role
You'll bring proven tax experience and a strong understanding of Australian and New Zealand tax legislation, with the ability to manage a broad range of compliance, reporting, and governance requirements. Experience working in a multinational organisation or professional services environment will be highly regarded.
You're a collaborative and commercially minded professional with strong stakeholder management skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Comfortable managing competing priorities, you'll bring sound judgement, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
What the role looks like
· Support the financial onboarding and integration of new partners, ensuring accounting processes, systems, and data are transitioned effectively.
· Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including enhancements to policy administration systems, payment solutions, and other finance platforms.
· Partner with Finance, Operations, IT, Risk, and external stakeholders to deliver change initiatives and improve business outcomes.
· Provide technical accounting support to ensure compliance with APRA, IFRS 17, and internal financial governance requirements.
· Assist with system testing, process design, and documentation to support the successful implementation of new solutions.
· Strengthen financial controls, compliance, and reporting processes while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
· Deliver analytical and project support across cross-functional initiatives that enhance finance operations and system capabilities across Australia and New Zealand.
What you’ll bring
· CPA qualified, with strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex accounting, regulatory, and business requirements.
· Experience working in a multi-stakeholder environment and building effective relationships across teams.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
· Exposure to system testing, UAT, or finance transformation projects will be highly regarded.
· Knowledge of the general insurance industry or regulatory framework is advantageous.
· A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
